I spent over fifteen years in business management before teaching myself to code. That background is why every application I build is designed around real business problems — not tech demos.
My path into development started the same way most of my projects start: I saw a problem nobody was solving properly. My wife Criste is a 3rd grade teacher with over twenty years in the classroom. The tools available to her were either overpriced, overcomplicated, or both. So I built her one. That became My Teachers Toolbox — a live K-5 education platform she uses every day.
One application turned into two. Two turned into eight. Each project pushed me deeper into the stack — from frontend interfaces to database architecture, from payment integrations to AI systems, from authentication flows to real-time voice processing. I build everything myself, end to end, and I don't ship anything that isn't production-ready.
"Zero placeholders" isn't a tagline — it's how I work. Every feature is functional, every database has proper security, every API handles errors, and every deployment is production-grade.
Today I operate Allen Code Co out of Winchester, Virginia — designing and building complete SaaS applications, many of which are available for acquisition. I also build custom hardware, having assembled over 15 desktop systems including the development workstation I use daily.
